Before we start: what cleaning can’t fix
Cleaning removes dirt, dust and buildup from the surface of the glass. Some conditions go deeper than the surface, so we want you to know ahead of time.
Sun-damaged glass
Years of direct sun can leave glass hazy or discolored. When the damage is in the glass itself, cleaning may not be able to restore it.
Scratches and etching
Scratches and marks etched into the glass are part of the surface, so they won’t come off with cleaning.
Fogging between double panes
Haze or moisture trapped between the two panes of a double-pane window is sealed inside the glass. We can only clean the outer surfaces.
Older window screens
Over time the sun weakens screen frames and mesh, so older screens can crack or break when they’re removed, handled or cleaned.
